It is a new year! Until I turned 20, I wrote my new year's resolution to read aloud in front of my parents on January 1st. I did big bow to my parents as I wished them a happy new year and they gave me some money in return. My father liked to talk to us something more than just greetings. He also wrote a letter to us, which were read aloud by us, too.
This kind of family event signaled me that a new year really started.

Now I do no longer live with my parents. My father even passed away years ago. That new year's event just became a kind of old story, and my memory that cannot happen any more.

It is my forth new year that I am spending in the U.S. What signals a new year since then? Nothing signals. It is just one of ordinary days that I miss my father.

Dog Beach

I am happy to live this country because I can walk my puppy on the beach. I am not sure if I can take my puppy to the beach in Korea. I have never heard "Dog beach" before. There are some dog beaches in florida. You do not need to leave your dog behind your home to enjoy beach. It would be much better if I could unleash him to run and enjoy as much as he could.

He was so excited today, pulling me, running here and there, and jumping over, which behaviors are unusual. I guess he was also happy to get away from the boring town.
